The incident involved third-party access to its IT systems, revealing some sensitive data. Immediately upon discovering the breach, Dick's Sporting Goods swiftly activated its cyber response team to address a data breach. The company has stated that the incident has not disrupted business operations. Federal law enforcement has been notified.
